Wat Arun

After a ca. 45-minute fast-paced taxi ride we arrived at the district Banglampoo. Close to the famous street, back Packer we checked in our guesthouse in Khao San Road.
The next day greeted us with perceived 40 degrees in the shade. First stood on our plan: Explore the environment and have breakfast. We found a small street stall around the corner quickly and we ordered scrambled eggs with toast and fresh papaya juice. Converted 1 gave us the straight time,Cost 50 euro per person. Around our accommodation abound just stalls, Food stalls and massage services.
To give us a first overview of Bangkok and us to recover some of the hard journey, We climbed in the afternoon in an express boat and sailed along the Chao Praya River. The- and exiting, as well as the boat itself are quite exciting. It should hold good in any case, as the boats driving very fast and are usually crowded. During the trip, we could see some sights from a distance, We us closer to want to look at in the next few days.
Evening we went to Khao San Road – the famous back Packer Street from the film the beach. Here are alternate food stalls, Souvenir sellers, Fruit stands and various pubs. Also some culinary specialities are offered there, e.g. Scorpion on a stick or deep-fried spiders and Katydid.
For dinner, there was at the food stall around the corner of SOM TAM (spicy papaya salad), Khao pad (fried rice) with pineapple & Cashew nuts and Pad Thai (fried noodles with beef). Additionally a Chang beer. All very tasty.
